What this site is

konnos.org is the marketing and community face of the konnos project. It exists to explain what konnos is and how to participate in the community. It is informational — no account is required and nothing is sold here.

The forge service at code.konnos.org is a separate service with its own usage rules surfaced during sign-up. Hosting your code there is a free community service offered at the maintainer’s discretion; no SLA, no uptime commitment, no commercial support is implied unless explicitly contracted.

The konnos software

The konnos software itself (the source you can clone from code.konnos.org/konnos/konnos) is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 or later, inherited from upstream Forgejo. Your rights and obligations as a user, contributor, redistributor, or operator of the software are defined by that license, not by these terms.

Acceptable use

Don’t use konnos.org or code.konnos.org to: distribute malware, violate other people’s rights, harass other community members, attempt to compromise the infrastructure, send unsolicited bulk content, or do anything that’s illegal under EU or Cypriot law. Accounts or content that violate this may be suspended or removed without notice.

Brand and naming

The konnos name and the heart-with-circuit-traces mark identify the konnos project specifically. You’re welcome to reference them in journalism, reviews, blog posts, and similar editorial contexts. You may not use them to imply endorsement of unrelated products, to brand a hostile fork as official konnos, or in a way that confuses users about what is and isn’t maintained by the konnos project.

No warranty

konnos.org and code.konnos.org are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, flndrn Limited disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do our best to keep things up, secure, and correct, but we don’t guarantee it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute that can’t be resolved by talking first goes to the competent courts of Limassol.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms we’ll bump the “Last updated” date at the top and announce material changes in the konnos community Matrix room. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
